THANKSGIVING WEEK 12 PREVIEW

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

ORIGINAL DIVISION UPDATE

The Megatons have a 1-game lead over the Backdoor Bandits in the hotly contested Original Division. You'll recall that these two teams play in what was probably the closest game in BCFFL history just 3 weeks ago. The Megatons won 153-152 after an NFL ruling altered the final score which was a tie at 152. With two games remaining in the regular season, The Megatons hope to rebound after a tough defeat in Week 11 to Frick and Frack as they prepare to face another division rival and arch-nemesis, the Predators.

The Preds are just 2 games back and a win this weekend would go a long ways towards solidifying their playoff hopes. Chasing the Predators are The Spoiler (4-6-1) and Allie-Gators (4-7) who are up against the wall at this point. The Spoiler take on the Backdoor Bandits which could also greatly benefit the Predators, and the Allie-Gators go out of their division to play the reigning champion Delta Marauders (5-5-1).

EXTRA CRISPY DIVISION UPDATE

Loud Noises!!! finally figured out the BCFFL right around Week 7 when they went on a roll winning 3 of the past 4 $10 weekly top score prizes and a 6-game winning streak. That's all on the line this weekend when they go up against their nearest competitor in the EC Division, Frick and Frack. FF is a riding a 3-game winning streak of their very own and have improved to 6-5 on the season with a shot at taking over the top spot with a win and just one week to go on the season.

Not lost in all of this excitement at the top of the division is the Delta Marauders, your back-to-back reigning BCFFL Champions. At 5-5-1, the DMs battle the Allie-Gators (4-7) and with a win can move into position to steal the division with a week left in the season.

The Wildcats (4-7) and Houston Fuzz (3-8) round out the division. The Fuzz are two-time $10 winners on the season and it's been feast or famine for them all season long. One week HF is dropping 170 points or 234 and another week it's 49-points or 84-points in defeat. Tom Brady had better at least deliver a pair of Uggs to the HFs when the season comes to an end!
