WEEK 12 PREVIEW - PLAYOFF PUSH!

With two weeks remaining in the regular season, two postseason spots are up for grabs amongst four teams. Two teams control their own destiny - the Backdoor Bandits and Delta Marauders - while the other two teams (Allie-Gators and Parking Thugs) are in need of help.

The Spoiler and Predators have clinched playoff spots out of the Original Division, with the defending champion Predators capturing the top overall seed and a first-round bye. Two Extra Crispy Division teams - The Megatons and Cougars - have clinched playoff berths and now are fighting for a division title in their remaining games.

Finally, the Gauchos and Houston Fuzz will play the role of the spoiler (not Kelvin's team) and attempt to make reaching the postseason even tougher for their opponents.

After three exciting Thanksgiving Day games, we have some action in all four Week 12 match-ups. Here are the results heading into Sunday's games:
  • 51-7: The Megatons def Allie-Gators. Drew Brees' (21-points) performance in Dallas was off the hook. The 3rd-and-10 pass on the game-winning drive to Robert Meachem was simply amazing. He's not the Super Bowl MVP. Miles Austin (24-points) also had a big day against New Orleans with a 60-yard TD reception.
  • 35-35: Parking Thugs tied Cougars. BenJarvus Green-Ellis (21) and Santonio Holmes (14) came through for the Thugs. Calvin Johnson (19) and Mark Sanchez (12) helped the Cougars tie things up at 35 a piece.
  • 28-0: Backdoor Bandits def Gauchos. The Jets' 89-yard kickoff return blew things open for a 28-0 lead.
  • 53-23: Delta Marauders def Houston Fuzz. Tom Brady (47-points) had a tremendous day in Detroit to lead the Patriots to victory. Jason Witten (9) and Marques Colston (10) have given the Fuzz some life.
  • 9-0: The Spoiler def Predators. NY Jets' LaDainian Tomlinson (5) and Dustin Keller (4) have The Spoiler out in front by 9-points. The Predators have yet to take the field.
And now, to see who's left in our Week 12 games. With just two weeks to play, you can bet each match-up will be closely watched to see who still has life heading into our season finale in Week 13.

GAME of the WEEK

THE MEGATONS
(7-4, Extra Crispy Division)
vs
ALLIE-GATORS
(4-6-1Original Division)

DWAYNE BOWE
The Megatons

Dwayne Bowe leads The Megatons into battle against the Allie-Gators in Week 13. With a 51-7 lead, The Megatons are hoping to continue their winning streak and their division title. In his last two road games at Denver and Oakland, Bowe has a total of 249 receiving yards and 3 TDs. He has 10 TDs in his last 6 games. This guy is muy caliente!

Matty "Ice" has a home date against Green Bay. The trio of Knowshon Moreno, Brandon Jacobs, and Steven Jackson will hope to play as well as the Gators combo of Cedric Benson and MJD and then some. Of the three, Jackson is closing in on 1,000 yards at 811 to date. Moreno has 3 receiving TDs. And between all three they have scored 11 times rushing.

SIDNEY RICE
Allie-Gators

A new coach. Sidney Rice off the shelf and back into action. This can only mean good things for Brett Favre and the Vikings, right? One thing is for certain, it can only get better in Minnesota. And the Allie-Gators stand to capitalize on these developments as they enter play 44-points down to The Megatons in Week 12. The Gators must win and are in need of help out of the Houston Fuzz and Gauchos in their match-ups with the Bandits and Marauders to keep their postseason hopes alive.

Jay Cutler and Ryan Fitzpatrick have been solid at QB. Both QBs have thrown for about 2,000 yards each. Fitzpatrick  has thrown 18 TDs to 9 INTs, while Cutler has thrown 12 to 10. Both have rushed for close to 180 yards each.

Greg Jennings, Reggie Wayne, and Maurice Jones-Drew continue to be solid starters in the Gator line-up. This is a huge match-up and pits two of the BCFFLs savviest owners against each other. We'll see who comes out on top!

ORIGINAL DIVISION SHOWDOWN
"The Rematch!"

PREDATORS
(9-2, Original Division)
vs
THE SPOILER
(7-4Original Division)

PEYTON MANNING
Predators

The Predators dropped 170-points on The Spoiler in a Week 7 victory, securing 1st place in the division and they've never looked back. This week The Spoiler looks to avenge that loss and build some momentum heading into the postseason. It will not be easy.

Peyton Manning and Philip Rivers lead the Predators and most QBs around the league for that matter. They're set to square off against one another this weekend in a huge Sunday night contest. Both QBs have thrown over 3,000 yards this season. Manning has 20 TDs and 7 INTs. Rivers has 23 TDs and 9 INTs. Both have qb ratings around 100.

Arian Foster has rushed for over 1,000 yards this season and his counterpart, Peyton Hillis, is closing in 1,000 with 774 through 11 weeks. They have a combined 20 TDs. And both are decent receivers with nearly 350 yards each and 3 TDs.

At WR, you can't forget about Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald. The Predators missed out on Turkey Day with Deion Branch's 41-point outburst. But Andre has 813 receiving yards and 4 TDs this season, and Fitzgerald is getting back into it with nearly 700 receiving yards and 5 TDs himself.

There is no wonder this team is tops in the league at 9-2 and defending BCFFL Champion.

BRANDON LLOYD
The Spoiler

The Spoiler have a couple of decent QBs of their own with Kyle Orton and Aaron Rodgers. Orton's thrown for over 3,000 yards and Rodgers is close with 2,600+. Both have outstanding TD:INT ratios of 19:9 and 17:6 for Rodgers and Orton, respectively.

Rashard Mendenhall had an off week at home against Oakland, but he looks to get back on track in Week 12. Jeremy Maclin has the lightning bolt Michael Vick throwing the ball and so he's always on the lookout for a big day. And the rough and tumble Giants DST can make things very interesting points-wise any given week.

The Spoiler hope for revenge from their Week 7 defeat this year and want to make a statement heading into the playoffs with a big win over the #1 team in the league and their division rival in Week 12.

COUGARS
(7-4, Extra Crispy Division)
vs
PARKING THUGS
(4-7Extra Crispy Division)

ADRIAN PETERSON
Cougars

Tied at 35, the Cougars are fighting for the win over the Parking Thugs in Week 12 so they can get that important first round bye in the playoffs, or at least stay even with The Megatons in the Extra Crispy Division.

Adrian Peterson has not made much noise lately and the Cougars have to be pinning much of their title hopes on his back. Frank Gore looks like his ankle will be ready for Monday night against Arizona and any extra points the Cougars might need to pull out a victory.

Percy Harvin and Eli Manning are the only other real threats in the Cougars line-up besides Gore/Peterson, so the Cougars need Minnesota to come alive and bury Washington on the road this Sunday.

LeSEAN McCOY
Parking Thugs

The Thugs have all their fingers and toes crossed that they can get over on the Cougars, but more importantly, that the Fuzz and Gauchos somehow beat the Bandits and Marauders, and possibly The Megatons winning in Week 12. Got that?

LeSean McCoy has been a revelation in Philadelphia. The RB out of the University of Pittsburgh was showcased last Sunday night on a 4th down TD run for Philadelphia. With Vick threatening to run at any moment, McCoy has a little bit of extra room to work carrying the ball.

Brett Favre and Josh Freeman have been workmanlike at QB, though Freeman has been having the better season. The Bucs QB has 14 TDs and 5 INTs while Favre has 10:17. Both have thrown for over 2,000 yards.

This should be an interesting finish and if the Thugs can win, they may be playing for a postseason slot in Week 13.

DELTA MARAUDERS
(5-5-1, Extra Crispy Division)
vs
HOUSTON FUZZ
(2-8Extra Crispy Division)

MIKE WALLACE
Delta Marauders

The Delta Marauders have had quite the roller coaster season but now, at 5-5-1, they have a decent shot at making the playoffs. All they need to do is win and they're in.

WRs Mike Wallace and Roddy White play key roles in the Marauders line-up. Wallace has 8 TDs and nearly 800 receiving yards. White has over 1,000 yards receiving and 7 TDs.

Matt Forte and LeGarrette Blount lead the rushing attack and Ben Roethlisberger has yet to play as well. Blount and Forte both have 4 rushing TDs while Forte has 3 receiving as well.

MATT SCHAUB
Houston Fuzz

The Fuzz can play the spoiler this week and perhaps keep the Delta Marauders from clinching a playoff spot for another week. Leading the way is the Fuzz's #1 overall pick, Matt Schaub. The Texans' QB has passed for 2,574 yards and has a 13:7 TD to INT ratio.

The Fuzz send out John Kuhn, Tim Hightower and Ronnie Brown at RB and that's about all that's left in this match-up with the Marauders. At the moment, the Fuzz are down 30 and have 6 players left for Week 12. It will be nothing short of miraculous if they can pull this off.

BACKDOOR BANDITS
(6-5, Original Division)
vs
GAUCHOS
(3-8Original Division)

MICHAEL VICK
Backdoor Bandits

Second only to Peyton Manning in Pro Bowl voting, Michael Vick is reborn in Philadelphia. Winning seems to be a great antidote to bad press. I mean, if a guy like Vick is over in Philly, I guess it's official that he is back. Coming off two strong starts including a 70-pointer against Washington, Vick has the rest of the BCFFL on notice that the Backdoor Bandits are never officially beaten until Vick has taken his final snap of the day. That is, unless you're on the Bandits by more than 70-points. Vick is capable of anything!

With a 28-0 head start on the Gauchos, the Bandits have to like their chances even more to clinch a playoff spot this weekend.

Chris Johnson, Michael Turner, and Darren McFadden are the RBs for the Bandits. This year's #1 overall pick, CJ28, has 968 rushing yards and 9 TDs for the Titans. Michael Turner has 6 TDs and 864 rushing yards for Atlanta. And D-Mac has 4 TDs and 771 rushing yards for the Raiders.

DeSean Jackson and Mike Williams have 11 TDs between the two of them at WR and both are closing in on 700 receiving yards. DJ is about to break 100 rushing yards and has a TD carrying the ball.

RAY RICE
Gauchos

The Gauchos have officially been initiated back into the ranks of the BCFFL with a very challenging season of action. At 3-8, the Gauchos are limping to the finish line. For now, the Gauchos can only play the role of spoiler and keep the Bandits from clinching a playoff spot until Week 13 with a win.

While Ray Rice and Jamaal Charles have done well rushing the ball this season (both over 700 yards) they have had a tough time scoring TDs: only 5 between the two of them. That explains some of the power outage.

At QB, the Gauchos are going to have to have a better plan in the draft next summer. Not taking a QB in the BCFFL draft of all fantasy drafts has proven to be a killer. Matt Hasselbeck has regained his form under Pete Carrol and has been carrying the Gauchos from week to week. But there are no suitable back-ups and David Garrard was traded for Chad Henne earlier this season in a deal involving other players with the Predators.

Randy Moss has fizzled out on whatever team he currently plays for, if he's even still in the NFL. Anquan Boldin has been solid in Baltimore, but little else is there for the Gauchos to fall back on. Things have gotten so tough that in Week 12 the Gauchos are starting two DSTs: Rams and Ravens. But then the Gauchos can take those kinds of risks as the spoiler.

Good luck to all as we conclude our Week 12 match-ups and push towards the playoffs!

WEEK 12 - POSTSEASON UPDATE

With only 2 weeks left in the regular season, here is where we stand:

STANDINGS

#1 PREDATORS (9-2) Clinched the Original Division crown.  Clinched the #1 seed throughout the playoffs.  Will have a bye in week 14.  Will play lowest remaining seed in week 15.

#2 MEGATONS (7-4) Clinched Playoff Spot.  Currently the second place team by virtue of a larger margin of victory in head-to-head match-up with Cougars.  Can win the Extra Crispy Division crown by tying or having a better record than the Cougars.

#3 COUGARS (7-4) Clinched Playoff Spot.  Currently in 3rd place by virtue of victory over The Spoiler.  Can win the division by having a better record than the Megatons.

#4 THE SPOILER (7-4)  Clinched Playoff Spot.  Can move up to #3 seed by having a better record than The Megatons or Cougars – whoever does not win the division.  The Spoiler can also be the #3 seed in the Cougars win the division and The Megatons and Spoiler finish with identical records.

#5 BACKDOOR BANDITS (6-5)  Currently the #5 seed. Win one of remaining two and they are in.  Lose both and they will need Allie-Gators or Parking Thugs to lose at least one or Delta Marauders to lose both.

#6 DELTA MARAUDERS (5-5-1)  Currently the #6 seed.  Control their own destiny.  Win both and they are in.  Lose one or both and they will need Allie-Gators or Parking Thugs to also lose also.
                               =================================

#7 ALLIE-GATORS (4-6-1)  Currently out of the playoffs by 1 game.  Do not control their own destiny.  They will need help, but it is very do-able.  Allie-Gators must win at least one game and hope Delta Marauders lose one or both remaining games to get in or have a shot at a tie breaker scenario.  Or they must win both games and hope Backdoor Bandits lose both remaining games.

#8 PARKING THUGS (4-7)  Also do not control their own destiny.  Things are a little more difficult for the PT’s.  They must win out then hope that the DM’s or BB’s lose BOTH their games.  They also need the Allie-Gators to lose at least one game.  Tough task, but they are still alive!

#9 GAUCHOS (3-8)  Eliminated from playoffs.  Will be playing the roll of spoiler now.

#10 Houston Fuzz (2-9) Eliminated from playoffs.  Will be playing the roll of spoiler now.

WEEK 11 REVIEW

With two weeks to go in the season, it's now or never for some teams to make their move towards a playoff spot. The Allie-Gators, Delta Marauders, and Parking Thugs all took big steps forward in the hopes of claiming a wild card spot with impressive victories, including the $10 prize for this week's highest total to the AGs.

Meanwhile, the hottest team in the league, and your defending champion, Predators, improved to 9-2 with a showdown victory over the Backdoor Bandits. This is a temporary setback for the Bandits who, at 6-5, are still very much alive for a postseason invitation.

In other other showdown match in the Extra Crispy Division, it appears that the tide has officially turned with The Megatons victory over the Cougars. Tied at 7-4, The Megatons and Cougars have two weeks left to figure out the division winner. The Megatons seem to have a tougher road with the Gators and Marauders, while the Cougars face the Parking Thugs and Houston Fuzz in Weeks 12 and 13.

And now, for a look back at all the action in Week 11 in the BCFFL.

PREDATORS def BACKDOOR BANDITS:
177-110

PREDATORS REPORT:
  • Philip Rivers led the way with 39-points in Week on 233 passing yards and 4 TDs in a 177-110 win over the Backdoor Bandits. Peyton Manning was equally impressive with 37-points.
  • The breakthrough RB duo of 2010 - Arian Foster and Peyton Hillis - had outstanding performances in Week 11 with 29 and 23 points each, respectively.
  • Larry Fitzgerald (19) and the Bears DST (15) rounded out the Predators victory today with contributions of their own.
  • Steve Johnson (43), Mike Tolbert (23), and David Garrard (18) had solid outings on the bench for the Predators. This team is deep.
BACKDOOR BANDITS REPORT:
  • Once again Michael Vick led the way. He wasn't able to reprise his 70-point effort just under a week ago in Washington. But his 25-point night on 258 passing  yards and a rushing TD were good enough to beat the NY Giants. Matt Cassel had 21-points for KC in victory over Arizona.
  • Michael Turner (21) and Chris Johnson (13) had steady performances at RB.
  • Malcolm Floyd caught a TD on Monday night against Denver and added 12-points to the Bandits' total.
FINAL TWO GAMES:

PREDATORS (9-2)
  • Week 11: The Spoiler (7-4) A win clinches the division for the Predators.
  • Week 12: Parking Thugs (4-7)
BACKDOOR BANDITS (6-5)
  • Week 11: Gauchos (3-8)
  • Week 12: Allie-Gators (4-6-1)
THE MEGATONS def COUGARS:
164-104

THE MEGATONS REPORT:
  • The Megatons QBs Matty "Ice" and Drew Brees combined for 635 passing yards and 6 TDs for 65-points. Every team facing The Megatons from this point forward need to be concerned about how to counter these two dominant players at their position.
  • The tandem of Miles Austin (20-points) and Dwayne Bowe (30-points) are about as good as it gets this season in the NFL at WR. Once again in Week 11 both superstars were productive, combining for 50-points.
  • Knowshon Moreno (19) and Rob Bironas (10) rounded out the scoring effort for The Megatons who now share a tie in first place in the Extra Crispy Division.
  • Darren Sproles (27), Robert Meachem (25), and Shaun Hill (24) add great depth to The Megatons bench.
COUGARS REPORT:
  • Mark Sanchez was the lone star in Week 11 for the Cougars. The Jets QB had 33-points on 315 passing yards and 3 TDs. He also led his team to another thrilling victory in the waning moments of the game.
  • The rest of the squad was just mediocre in Week 11. Eli Manning (15), Calvin Johnson (14), and Chad Ochocinco (12) were good but not great.
  • The only miss in Week 11 was the hard-to-figure-out T.J.  Houshmandzadeh (27-points) who had a big day for Baltimore.
FINAL TWO GAMES:

THE MEGATONS (7-4)
  • Week 11: Allie-Gators (4-6-1)
  • Week 12: Delta Marauders (5-5-1)
COUGARS (7-4)
  • Week 11: Parking Thugs (4-7)
  • Week 12: Houston Fuzz (2-9)

ALLIE-GATORS def THE SPOILER
216-121

ALLIE-GATORS REPORT:
  • Greg Jennings was a star among stars in Week 11 with 45-points on 152 receiving yards and 3 TDs (11, 46, 22). It also helped that Jenning was catching passes from The Spoiler's star QB, Aaron Rodgers, who's 41-point day basically worked out to a 4-0 difference in favor of Jennings.
  • Reggie Wayne chipped in 20-points for Indy against New England.
  • Ryan Fitzpatrick (38-points) is among this year's fantasy surprises at QB and the Gators are beginning to reap the rewards. Fitzpatrick helped the Bills score 49-points on Cincinnati in Week 11.
  • Fred Jackson (28) is another Buffalo Bill helping the Gators in major ways at RB. Cedric Benson contributed 22-points in the same game for the AGs.
  • The Steelers DST (15) and David Akers (13) were also role players in helping the AGs to win this week's $10 prize for the highest total of 216-points.
THE SPOILER REPORT:
  • Aaron Rodgers was neutralized by Greg Jennings, 45-41. It's tough when you have to swallow a 300-yard performance and 4 TDs.
  • There was not much to support Rodgers for The Spoiler in Week 11. T.O. had 16-points for Cincinnati. Kyle Orton (14-points) had a good first drive against San Diego and that's about it.Rashard Mendenhall (13-points) was not his usual self against Oakland. Jeremy Maclin (12) and LaDainian Tomlinson (10) were also so-so in Week 11.
  • The lackluster performance is not inspiring much confidence in The Spoiler locker room. They're going to have to pull it together in Week 12 to keep the Backdoor Bandits from sneaking past them in the standings.
FINAL TWO GAMES:

ALLIE-GATORS (4-6-1)
  • Week 11: The Megatons (7-4)
  • Week 12: Backdoor Bandits (6-5)
THE SPOILER (7-4)
  • Week 11: Predators (9-2) A win clinches the division for the Predators.
  • Week 12: Gauchos (3-8)
DELTA MARAUDERS def GAUCHOS
162-124

DELTA MARAUDERS REPORT:
  • The DMs are back to .500 with a big win over the Gauchos in Week 11, 162-124.
  • "Big" Ben Roethlisberger was as good as it gets in Week 11 with 50-points against Oakland on 275 passing yards and 3 TDs. Apparently picking up Ben early in our draft despite his 4 game suspension at the start of the season has paid off.
  • Tom Brady (21) starred in New England's showdown win over Indianapolis.
  • Mike Wallace had an outstanding afternoon with 32-points.
  • Matt Forte had 17-points on Thursday night in Miami.
GAUCHOS REPORT:
  • Matt Hasselbeck was the lone bright spot for the Gauchos in Week 11. Hasselbeck had 25-points on 366 passing yards and a TD for Seattle in defeat to New Orleans.
  • Ray Rice (2), the Ravens DST (23) and Matt Bryant (14) contributed in defeat, and there was not much more beyond that.
FINAL TWO GAMES:

DELTA MARAUDERS (5-5-1)
  • Week 11: Houston Fuzz (2-9)
  • Week 12: The Megatons (7-4)
GAUCHOS (3-8)
  • Week 11: Backdoor Bandits (6-5)
  • Week 12: The Spoiler (7-4)
PARKING THUGS def HOUSTON FUZZ:
154-92

PARKING THUGS REPORT:
  • Santonio Holmes scored the game-winning TD with just seconds on the clock for the second week in a row. Ever since returning from his suspension, Holmes has been outstanding at WR for the Jets. He pitched in 32-points for the Thugs in Week 11 with 126 receiving yards and 2 TDs.
  • LeSean McCoy (29-points) was equally impressive on Sunday night against the N.Y. Giants, scoring on a 4th-down run from near midfield in the 3rd quarter.
  • BenJarvus Green-Ellis (17-points) and Thomas Jones (23-points) round out the RB trio for the Thugs.
  • Josh Freeman had 19-points in a rout of the 49ers.
HOUSTON FUZZ REPORT:
  • Joe Flacco (27-points) led the way for the Houston Fuzz in Week 11 with 301 passing yards and a TD.
  • Carson Palmer (20) and Braylon Edwards (18) were the other big contributors. There was not much more beyond that in Week 11 for the Fuzz.
  • QBs Schaub (18) and Anderson (20) were on the bench, along with Marquest Colston (32) at WR.
FINAL TWO GAMES:

PARKING THUGS (4-7)
  • Week 11: Cougars (7-4)
  • Week 12: Predators (9-2)
HOUSTON FUZZ (2-9)
  • Week 11: Delta Marauders (5-5-1)
  • Week 12: Cougars (7-4)
Congrats to all winners in Week 11 and good luck clinching a playoff spot and/or your division in Weeks 12 and 13!

Most importantly,
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

WEEK 11 REPORT

Three weeks to go before the "real" season begins. This week features two of the most compelling match-ups all season long. First of all, in the Original Division, we have the defending champion, Predators (8-2) going up against this year's scariest team, the Backdoor Bandits (6-4). Twice the Bandits have dropped 200 points on an opponent. Just last Monday, QB Michael Vick dropped 70 alone with 6 TDs (4 passing, 2 rushing). The Bandits started slowly, but they've gained a head of steam and now have a chance to close the gap with two weeks remaining after this game.

In the Extra Crispy Division, the legendary BCFFL powerhouse, Megatons (6-4), are riding a winning streak of their own and have a chance, finally, to square off with all that stands in their way for first place, the Cougars (7-3).

With a Bears victory over the Dolphins last night, the match-ups have already begun. Here are the totals so far:
  • 17-0: Delta Marauders def Gauchos
  • 15-0: Predators def Backdoor Bandits
  • 7-0: Gators def The Spoiler
  • 0-0: The Megatons vs Cougars
  • 2-0: Houston Fuzz def Parking Thugs
Now, enjoy a sneak preview of all the action in Week 11, and good luck to everyone!

GAME of the WEEK
ORIGINAL DIVISION SHOWDOWN!

PREDATORS
8-2
vs
BACKDOOR BANDITS
6-4

LARRY FITZGERALD
90 ypg avg for the last 3 games

For the second time this season, Larry Fitzgerald finds himself in a Predators uniform. The Cardinal WR is set to face the K.C. Chiefs in Week 11 with the Predators ahead 15-0 thanks to the Bears DST. Next to the Delta Marauders' combination of Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady, the Predators have the strongest tandem at QB in Peyton Manning and Philip Rivers. Manning gets Brady on Sunday afternoon and Rivers has the Monday game against Denver.

Another strong Peyton on the Predators is Peyton Hillis of the Cleveland Browns. As Shannon Sharpe put it last Sunday, "If Pittsburgh had The Bus in Jerome Bettis, then Peyton Hillis has to be the Winnebago." This guys eats up yards!

Andre Johnson and Arian Foster find themselves in the Big Apple taking on the Jets in an AFC showdown. This is the biggest test of the season for the Predators so far.

DeSEAN JACKSON
2 TDs, 317 ReYds - Career vs NYG (4 games)

The Bandits have the deadly combination of Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson to deal with. And it isn't a question of if they will connect, but how many times is more like it. Last week these two alone accounted for practically 100-points. This week they get the Sunday night game against the Giants. We know how well they work at night, considering last Monday's clinic against the Skins.

In addition to Vick and Jackson, Matt Cassel quietly had a 47-point weekend against Denver last Sunday. The way Dwayne Bowe is catching the ball these days, Vick and Cassel may be more than enough to counter Manning and Rivers.

You can't forget about our #1 overall pick in Chris Johnson along with Michael Turner and Darren McFadden. It's looking like this Sunday's game is going to be a real closely contested match. The Bandits have to overcome a 15-point deficit, but they appear to have the roster to get the job done.

GAME of the WEEK
EXTRA CRISPY DIVISION SHOWDOWN!

THE MEGATONS
6-4
vs
COUGARS
7-3

KNOWSHON MORENO
106 RuYds - Week 10

The Megatons know how to win games and this week they can claim a spot at the top of their division with a win over the Cougars. The consistency and trust in their line-up to get the job done has paid off. Drew Brees and Matt Ryan rank right up there with the best duos in the BCFFL, and this weekend they'll have Seattle at home for the Saints, while the Falcons travel to St. Louis.

Miles Austin and Dwayne Bowe have been deadly at WR for The Megatons, and Knowshon Moreno and Steven Jackson are the blue collar backs. The Megatons can make a real statement this weekend as they battle the Cougars.

FRANK GORE
Avg 146 yds from scrimmage - last 4 games

The Cougars have led from the very start of the season; from the draft, many would argue. With Frank Gore and Adrian Peterson carrying the ball, to Manning and Sanchez throwing it, to Percy Harvin, Calvin Johnson, and Antonio Gates catching it, this is one very balanced attack.

So what gives in Week 11 against The Megatons? Are these all pros going to shrink when it comes to adversity? Or will these battle-tested pros man up and get the job done? First place is officially up for grabs.

THE SPOILER
7-3
vs
ALLIE-GATORS

TERRELL OWENS
834 ReYds, 7 TDs

Not to be lost in the hunt, The Spoiler are still in the race despite an earlier loss this season to the Predators With the league's second best record at 7-3, The Spoiler stand to benefit with a Bandits win over the Predators this weekend.

Leading the way is T.O. along with Rashard Mendenhall and the starting QBs: Kyle Orton and Aaron Rodgers. The Spoiler hopes to continue preparing for their playoff run and it continues this weekend as they face the wily Allie-Gators.

FRED JACKSON
Week 10: 133 RuYds, 1 TD

The Allie-Gators hope to make some noise before this season is over. They are going to have to run the table, and that means having to deal first with The Spoiler. With Jay Cutler having 7-points against Miami last night, the Gators are down to their nine remaining players.

Among the bright spots in the line-up this week has to be Maurice Jones-Drew and Greg Jennings. MJD has been tearing it up lately for Jacksonville, and Greg Jennings can neutralize the production of The Spoiler QB Rodgers with a big day against Minnesota.

DELTA MARAUDERS
(EXTRA CRISPY DIVISION)
4-5-1
vs
GAUCHOS
(ORIGINAL DIVISION)
3-7

DEZ BRYANT
7 TDs

Another hopeful contender in the BCFFL still fighting for their playoff lives are the Delta Marauders. Brady and Roethlisberger are the lifeblood of this team and they put up 79-points a week ago. This Sunday the Pats face their longtime rival, Indianapolis. The Steelers take on the Raiders after losing to New England at home last Sunday night. They're going to be fired up to play an even older rival in Oakland.

The DMs have a couple of key receivers preparing for big nights with the new-look Cowboys, under Jason Garret, turning to Dez Bryant, and the NFL's leading receiver, Roddy White, taking on the Rams in St. Louis.

Vernon Davis and LeGarrette Blount will be busy battling one another in San Francisco as the 49ers take on the Bucs this Sunday. The Marauders can even their record at 5-5-1 with a win.

RANDY MOSS
3 receptions away from 8th all-time WR

The clock has nearly struck 12 for the Gauchos. The power outage the Gauchos have been suffering through has been very costly. Randy Moss now plays for a third team this season and he's been rather pedestrian all year long. Matt Hasselbeck has resurfaced as one of the league's brighter QBs in Seattle. Wonder how he'll do in New Orleans this Sunday.

Ray Rice, Anquan Boldin, and Jamaal Charles are the main weapons in the Gauchos arsenal as they go up against the Delta Marauders, while playing for their season to stay alive this weekend.

PARKING THUGS
3-7
vs
HOUSTON FUZZ
2-8

JACOBY FORD
Week 10: 148 ReYds; 30-points

The Parking Thugs made a huge deal heading into Week 11 and they're hoping that they can catch lightning in a bottle with Jacoby Ford of the Oakland Raiders. Ford made a smashing debut with a kickoff return against Kansas City last weekend along with 148 receiving. It remains to be seen what he'll try to do for an encore in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Brett Favre needs to stop taking pictures of his junk and start trying to salvage what's left of a very disappointing season in Minnesota as his old team, Green Bay, comes to town. That ought to be fun to watch.

The Thugs' season hangs in the balance and they've got to get over on the Houston Fuzz to keep it alive. Can they do it?

BRAYLON EDWARDS
Cotchery's injury means more work for Edwards!

The Houston Fuzz may officially be the first team playing the role of the spoiler this Sunday as they take on the 3-8 Parking Thugs. A win and they may have company of the non-postseason variety.

Braylon Edwards, Joe Flaccco, and Carson Palmer lead the efforts for the Houston Fuzz in Week 11.

Good luck to all!

WEEK 10 REPORT

DELTA MARAUDERS def COUGARS
173-161

TOM BRADY - 43pts
350 PaYd, 3 PaTD (19,9,25), 3 RuYd, RuTD (3)

BEN ROETHLISBERGER - 36pts
387 PaYd, 3 PaTD (6,15,33), PaInt, 12 RuYd

The Delta Marauders were down and out in their Week 10 match-up with the division-leading Cougars until Sunday night when Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady squared off in an old-fashioned shootout. The QBs combined for 79-points and that was enough to propel the DMs to a 173-161 victory.

Dez Bryant (20) and Mike Wallace (33) combined for 53-points at WR. LeGarrette Blount continues to improve as he contributed 17-points in victory in Week 10. Turns out Roddy White's 33-point effort on Thursday night was forgiven with the Brady/Roethlisberger performance Sunday night. But the NFL's leading receiver riding the bench this late in the season? That might have been costly.

So the DMs win and continue to surge towards picking up a wildcard playoff spot.

MARK SANCHEZ - 32pts
299 PaYd, 2 PaTD (25,37), PaInt, 4 RuYd, RuTD (1)

The Cougars remain in first place for the 10th week in a row but The Megatons are making serious noise in the ECD. Mark Sanchez (32) and Eli Manning (27) combined for 59-points of their own against Cleveland and Dallas on Sunday in road games.

Percy Harvin (26) and Calvin Johnson (22) combined for 48-points at WR. Frank Gore added 22-points at RB in victory over St. Louis. An off day by Adrian Peterson (7) proved to be costly in this important division match-up.

Chad Ochocinco (18) and Jabar Gaffney (15) might have been a good replacement for Ricky Williams (6) in retrospect. Either way, the Cougars are going to have to go into damage control mode and stop the bleeding in Week 11. Wouldn't ya know it? They'll be facing The Megatons!

BACKDOOR BANDITS DESTROY SPOILERS
204-130

MICHAEL VICK
70pts

The Backdoor Bandits have been there and done it all before. In their rookie season, no less. The way Michael Vick came out and played on Monday night, they just might do it all over again. Just about every fantasy owner in the world facing a team with Michael Vick in the starting line-up this week lost thanks to Vick's superhuman effort. Can you remember a greater fantasy performance? 70-points?

I've witnessed some amazing performances, but nothing comes close to what we saw with Vick on Monday in DC. Looks like he may have that starting QB job nailed down over Kevin Kolb in Philly. And McNabb seems a distant memory in Philly, certainly after he was the recipient of the beatdown this past Monday; on his new home field; after accepting a 5-year, $78 million dollar deal. Ouch!

MICHAEL VICK
333 PaYd, 4 PaTD (88,11,48,3)

In addition to Vick, the Bandits also had 47-points out of Matt Cassel. The KC quarterback passed for an amazing 469 yards and 4 TDs of his own in a loss to Denver.

All told, the Bandits had:
  • 802 passing yards
  • 8 passing TDs (88,11,48,3,5,15,11,22)
  • 344  rushing yards
  • 3 rushing TDs (7,6,17)
  • 224 receiving yards
  • 1 receiving TD (88)
That's tough to top at any time by anybody.

MICHAEL VICK
80 RuYd, 2 RuTD (7,6)

Be on the lookout this weekend as the Backdoor Bandits take on the division-leading Predators in a high-profile showdown and possible BCFFL title game preview. At 6-4, the Bandits figure to make some serious noise come playoff season.

JON KITNA - 38pts
327 PaYd, 3 PaTD (13,71,24), PaInt, 5 RuYd

KYLE ORTON - 38pts
296 PaYd, 4 PaTD (17,6,40,15), -1 RuYd

The Spoiler fell to 7-3 and 2nd place in the Original Division after losing 204-130 to the Backdoor Bandits. Kyle Orton and Jon Kitna combined for 76-points on 623 passing yards and 7 TDs in Week 10.

Jeremy Maclin had 18-points at WR for The Spoiler, but the rest of the line-up was rather impotent, with only one other player - LaDainian Tomlinson (10) - going into double-figures.

Brandon Lloyed (29) and Colt McCoy (17) had noteworthy performances on the bench for The Spoiler, who now must face the Allie-Gators in Week 11.

GAUCHOS FORMER QB DOES THEM IN!
PREDATORS WIN, 148-108

DAVID GARRARD - 44pts
342 PaYd, 2 PaTD (52,50), 35 RuYd

The Predators were seeking revenge for their Week 7 loss to the Gauchos and they came up big with a win in Week 10. David Garrard, formerly of the Gauchos, had a sensational day, winning it all on the final play with a Hail Mary pass deflected into the waiting arms of his wide receiver on the goal line to beat Houston. Garrard's 44-points made a big impact in the outcome of this game as the normally hot, Peyton Manning, was only good for 9-points and Philip Rivers was on the bye week.

Arian Foster (13) and Andre Johnson (24) were outstanding in defeat to Jacksonville for the Predators. With 3 games left, the league's best team and defending champions will have their hands full in Week 11 as they face the Backdoor Bandits.

MATT HASSELBECK - 28pts
333 PaYd, PaTD (63)

There is a major power outage in terms of points lately in Gaucho Land. Matt Hasselbeck had a decent outing in victory over Arizona, but that was really about it. Beyond Hasselbeck, Jamaal Charles (22) and Anquan Boldin (15) were the only producers for the Gauchos in Week 10. Not much to speak of.

At 3-7, the Gauchos window of opportunity for a playoff spot is dwindling quickly. They have to hope to win out the final 3 games of the season and steal a wild card spot at 6-7. Not likely.

THE MEGATONS def PARKING THUGS
124-97

MATTY "ICE" - 33pts
316 PaYd, 3 PaTD (28,4,33), 5 RuYd

Suddenly the league's hottest team, The Megatons have won 5 of their past 6 games and head into a divisional showdown with the Cougars in Week 11. Matt Ryan (33) played well for The Megatons in Week 10's Thursday game against Baltimore. He engineered a last minute comeback to win the game!

Shaun Hill (20) had a decent game in Drew Brees' absence during the bye week. Knowshown Moreno (25) and Steven Jackson (22) combined for 47-points at RB. Danny Amendola had 16-points at WR.

The big miss was Dwayne Bowe with 38-points on the bench. He's been scorching hot lately. Maybe an oversight here, but I'm guessing we won't find this cat on the bench from here on out. That could be a fatal mistake for The Megatons.

JOSH FREEMAN - 25pts
241 PaYd, 2 PaTD (8,20), 19 RuYd, FL

Bucs QB Josh Freeman's performance was the week's best for the Parking Thugs. Josh had 25-points on 241 passing yards and 2 TDs. Brett Favre (14) and LeSean McCoy (19) were about all that was left of the Thugs with significant scoring in Week 10.

Like the Gauchos, the Thugs (3-7) now have to hope for a miracle and run the table on the season to hope for a wild card berth.

ALLIE-GATORS CRUSH HOUSTON FUZZ
145-82

FRED JACKSON - 34pts
133 RuYd, RuTD (1), 37 ReYd, ReTD (16), FL

Apparently the book hasn't been written yet ont he Allie-Gators's season. They came up with a win when they needed it the most  in Week 10 over the Houston Fuzz. Jay Cutler (27), Maurice Jones-Drew (28), and Jermaine Gresham (18) were great in Week 10 for the AGs, but it was the performance of one Fred Jackson in Buffalo, NY, that made the difference and stole the show.

Jackson rushed for 133 yards and scored a TD for 34-points. He also caught a 16-yard TD pass to lift the Bills to a 14-12 victory over Detroit. He may have also resuscitated the Gator's season and hopes.

JOE FLACCO - 27pts
215 PaYd, 3 PaTD (5,6,9), PaInt, 13 RuYd

This was a tough one to watch for the Houston Fuzz. Flacco was the team's best player with his 27-point night against Atlanta. Carson Palmer had 20-points in defeat at Indianapolis. im Hightower had 13-points in a loss to Seattle.

On the bench, the Fuzz had points to go around including QBs Derek Anderson (22) and top pick, Matt Schaub (28) left on the bench. Kevin Walter and Mario Manningham both had 19-points and were also left on the bench.

So congrats to all winners in Week 10 and good luck with just 3 games to go before our playoffs!
