The win improved The Megatons to 5-4 and into solid contention for a playoff spot with 4 weeks to go on the schedule.
AARON HERNANDEZ (#85)
24-points: 2 TDs (2, 1)
The Delta Marauders drop to 3-5-1 in a tough loss to The Megatons in Week 9. The New England connection of Tom Brady and Aaron Hernandez emerged as a bright spot for the DMs as the two Patriots combined for 47-points and two touchdowns. The Patriots DST was not as hot with -1 points on just 34 PA and a DFR.
Mike Wallace had 110 receiving yards and a 39-yard TD for 21-points. Ben Roethlisberger has come back to earth after a strong start, finishing with just 13-points in Cincinnati on 163 passing yards and 8-yard TD pass.
Still in the playoff hunt, the DMs need a rebound victory in Week 10 to stay in line for a shot at the postseason.

PHILIP RIVERS
42-points: 4 TDs (55, 11, 12, 28)
Philip Rivers led the Predators to their seventh victory and fourth $10 prize for the league's top score in Week 9. Finishing with 202-points, the win was an afterthought as the defending BCFFL Champions plow their way into the postseason.
Rivers passed for 4 TDs in Houston as the Chargers went on to defeat the Texans. Rivers' arrival on the Predators roster after an earlier trade with the Parking Thugs for Brett Favre has proven to be a great addition to the team!
ARIAN FOSTER
35-points: 127 rushing yards, 2 TDs (8, 2)
In addition to Rivers, this year's hottest RB has to be Arian Foster. He scored twice against San Diego at home and racked up 35-points on 127 rushing yards. Peyton Hillis also was outstanding in Week 9 at home against New England with 37-points on 184 rushing yards and 2 TDs.

The Bears defeated the Bills in Toronto in Week 9, but the Gators were still short on points against the mighty Predators. Cutler led the way with 2 TDs on 188 passing yards for Chicago. Ryan Fitzpatrick contributed 16-points in the same game on 299 passing yards and a TD.
Greg Jennings scored a TD and had 80 receiving yards on Sunday night against Dallas for 18-points. Kicker, David Akers added 14-points on four FGs (22, 21, 31, 44) and two extra-points.

The drawback for the Thugs was the lack of a running game. Thomas Jones, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, and LeSean McCoy combined for 13-points and no TDs. That was pretty much the dealbreaker.
Steve Smith caught a 6-yard TD and added 14-points. Larry Fitzgerald added 10-points on 107 receiving yards. Sebastian Janikowski added 11-points with three field goals (23, 41, 33) and two extra-points.

RAY RICE
17-points: 180 all-purpose yards
The Gauchos have lost their mojo and were soundly defeated 151-69 in Week 9 against The Spoiler. Ray Rice was the one and only bright spot with 17-points on 180 all-purpose yards and no TDs.
Jeremy Shockey caught a 7-yard TD and added 10-points for the Gauchos. Matt Bryant and the Ravens DST combined for 18-points.
Limited QB play from Chad Henne cost the Gauchos major points, and the lack of a solid QB has hampered the Gauchos all season long. At 3-6, their playoff hopes are fading fast.
Congratulations to all Week 9 winners and good luck in Week 10!
