WEEK 4 REVIEW

GAUCHOS BACKDOOR THE BANDITS!

LaDainian Tomlinson
31-points (133 rushing yards, 2 TDs)

The Gauchos improved to 2-2 with a 100-61 victory over the Backdoor Bandits in Week 4. Leading the way was LaDainian Tomlinson starring in his first breakout performance for the N.Y. Jets. Chad Henne delivered another quality outing with 21-points in a tough loss on Monday night to New England, but the Gauchos had clinched the victory before Henne took to the field. Austin Collie (13) and Matt Bryant (10) were honorable mentions for the Gauchos.

The major performers for the Gauchos, once again, were on the bench, as Jonathan Stewart broke loose for 27-points on a 55-yard TD run. And TO had his first monster game for Cincinnati with 222 receiving yards and a TD for 42-points.

Donovan McNabb
125 passing yards + 1 TD; 39 rushing yards

The Bandits took a tough break in the Washington / Philadelphia game as Michael Vick injured his ribs. Donovan McNabb was the team's leading scorer in Week 4 with 13-points. Darren McFadden was a close second with 12-points. Beyond that, the Bandits were littered with single-digit performances and simply not enough firepower to get the job done.

Credit them for putting their best line-up on the field, however. Only 15-points were left sitting on the bench, while the Gauchos bench, meanwhile, were left with enough points to go around at 94.

COUGARS ROLL THE MEGATONS, 159-102!

Antonio Gates
144 receiving yards + 2 TDs (33, 26)

The Spoiler and Predators lead the league and the Original Division with 4-0 records. But the Cougars, now at 3-1 after a big win over The Megatons in Week 4, look like the team to beat. This is one very solid line-up and they were dominating in a 159-102 win over The Megatons. Antonio Gates is having an incredible year and he followed up recent strong performances with 144 receiving yards and two TDs against the Cardinals for 34-points.

The Cougars also had 20-points out of QB Mark Sanchez and 23-points from Joseph Addai at RB. Calvin Johnson contributed 28-points in a Detroit loss to Green Bay.

Drew Brees
275 passing yards + 1 TD (19-points)

Once again, The Megatons turned to Super Bowl champion Drew Brees to get them going in Week 4. They were without the services of WR Miles Austin, out for the bye week, and that might have cost them a step or two with the points. But Robert Meachem (1) and Steve Smith (1) had inexcusably bad performances in Week 4.

Matt Ryan had a decent week (16) in a nailbiting Atlanta victory over San Francisco. The S.F. Giants got sweet revenge with a Game 1 victory 1-0 in the NLDS, but that really wasn't helpful for The Megatons in Week 4.

Shaun Hill dropped 29-points for The Megatons on the bench and Steven Jackson had a good day with 12-points on 70 yards rushing, while Kenneth Darby had 11-points with a receiving TD as well.

The Megatons look to snap out of their tailspin in Week 5 as they face the 2-2 Gauchos.

FUZZ TAKE A DIP IN THE DELTA, 104-70!

Carson Palmer
371 passing yards, 2 TDs (78, 3) 36-points

If only the rest of the Bengals played as well as Carson Palmer in Week 4, they might have gotten over on the Browns. The Houston Fuzz will gladly be the beneficiaries, however, of a big week out of their #2 QB as Palmer's 36-points led the Fuzz to a 104-70 win over the Delta Marauders.

Matt Schaub added 21-points of his own on 192 passing yards and 2 TDs. Braylon Edwards had another good week for the Jets with 18-points on 86 receiving yards and a 41-yard TD catch. Don't kid yourself. This year's Fuzz squad has a few different stars that are going to punch you in the nose on Sunday.

Bruce Gradkowski
278 passing yards + 2 TDs (22-points)

The Raiders QB Bruce Gradkowski led the Delta Marauders with 22-points in their loss to the Houston Fuzz in Week 4. Tom Brady, despite the 41-points the Patriots put on the board on Monday night, only tallied 13-points in victory with 153 passing yards and a TD. Vernon Davis also had a solid week for S.F. with 13-points.

Sam Bradford was benched, though he finished with 24-points in a St. Louis win over the Seahawks. Michael Bush had a rushing TD and 13-points for Oakland. Otherwise, this was a rather disappointing week for the Marauders who look to get back on track with a win in Week 5.

PREDATORS REMAIN UNDEFEATED!

Arian Foster
44-points:
131 rushing yards + 1TD; 56 receiving yards + 1TD

The Houston Texans have the NFL's leading rusher and the breakout star of the NFL on their team in Arian Foster. From the opening snap until the final whistle of Week 4, Foster has been opening eyes across the nation with his speed and power. He racked up 44-points in the Predators fourth victory this season; a 174-96 shellacking of the Allie-Gators good for the $10 prize for the week's highest point total.

David Garrard made good on his chance to enter the starting line-up outperforming fellow Predator Peyton Manning, 32 to 27, and leading the Jags to a win over the Colts. RB Ahmad Bradshaw had 21-points on Sunday night in a rough game against the Bears. And Peyton Hillis broke 100 yards with 18-points for the Browns in victory against the Bengals.

Maurice Jones-Drew
29-points: 105 rushing yards + 2 TDs (rushing/receiving)

MJD had a huge game for the Allie-Gators, but he was just one of a few standout performances in an otherwise rough week that ended in a humiliating loss to the Predators.  Reggie Wayne wound up with 19-points on 196 receiving yards. His only drawback was that he failed to catch a TD pass.

Ryan Fitzpatrick was on the bench with 25-points at QB. Jay Cutler certainly was not his normal self from the past three weeks as he went scoreless on 42 passing yards against the Giants. It was simply not the Gators week, but they will certainly live to fight another day!

SPOILER IMPROVE TO 4-0!

Kyle Orton
341 passing yards + 2TDs; 28-points

The NFL's leading passer Kyle Orton had another huge game as Denver defeated Tennesee, 26-20, on 341 passing yards and 28 fantasy points. Aaron Rodgers was nearly as good on 25-points for the Packers. Dallas Clark contributed with 16-points for Indy on 68 receiving yards plus a TD. And Rashard Mendenhall continues to be the hot hand at RB as he earned 23-points on a TD plus 79 rushing yards against Baltimore.

Tony Romo
Enjoying the bye week as the Thugs starting QB.

The Parking Thugs started Tony Romo at QB. The only problem is that you and I scored as many fantasy points jacking off last Sunday as Romo did. The only thing Romo got a lot of last weekend was probably a lot of pussy. So, given the fact that the Thugs were shorthanded to begin with due to the bye week, they must have accidentally set their line-up while tailgating at the Coliseum or something, because The Spoiler are now 4-0 and the final score from this ugly game was 141-74.

Zach Miller
122 receiving yards + 1TD

So the Thugs did had a great weekend from Raiders TE Zach Miller who had 122 receiving yards and a TD for 22-points. DeAngelo Williams and LeSean McCoy both totaled 17-points. But beyond that, the Parking Thugs were more like the Parking Scrubs in Week 4.
