BCFFL CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW: The Draft (Part I)

Where were the Backdoor Bandits and Delta Marauders on draft day this season? Let's take a look at their line-ups then and now.

It's interesting to note that Michael Vick, who figures to play a key role in this year's title game, went undrafted. The first claim came in during Week 1 and a drawing was held for the rights to own Michael Vick between just five teams. The Predators were the first team to submit a claim at 4:34pm on September 12. The Backdoor Bandits were the fifth of five teams, which also included The Megatons, The Spoiler, and my team, the Gauchos. The Parking Thugs, Houston Fuzz, Cougars, and Allie-Gators passed on the Vick lottery.

In a strange twist of fate, the Bandits won that drawing (courtesy of my wife, Kari) and I guess you could say, (at least through the semifinals) the rest is history. What a head scratcher. Anyhow, we drafted with the  BACKDOOR BANDITS in the #1 position, and the DELTA MARAUDERS in the #6 position.
