and the

TAKE OUT THE
(#1) PREDATORS:
(#1) PREDATORS:
170-157
MICHAEL VICK
55-points
Michael Vick has emerged as a leading candidate, along with Tom Brady, for league MVP honors in 2010. His 55-points in Week 15 helped the Backdoor Bandits land a spot in this year's championship game with an amazing 170-157 victory over the defending champion, and #1-seed Predators. Vick passed for 242 yards and 3 TDs (8, 65, 13) and rushed for another TD of his own.
DeSEAN JACKSON
21-points
Playmaker DeSean Jackson saved the day for both the Eagles with his last second punt return for a game-winning TD, but also for the Bandits, who needed every one of the 16-points he earned on that spectacular return. If Jackson isn't doing it receiving the ball, he can hurt you in other ways such as this.
CHRIS JOHNSON
21-points
The league's #1 overall pick, Chris Johnson, picked up 21-points on 130 rushing yards plus a TD against AFC South rival, Houston. I'm not sure how often the #1 pick has played in our league title game, but it will be interesting to see if, in fact, Greg can take this pick all the way to the Promised Land of BCFFL gold.
JETS DST
21-points
The Jets defense and special teams (17 PA, DTD (97), 3 SACK, STY) played inspired football on the road in Pittsburgh, holding on for an important road victory, and avoiding a three-game losing streak.
PEYTON MANNING
23-points
The Predators got steady performances out of their starting QBs. Peyton Manning went to work against Jacksonville, throwing for 229 yards and 2 TDs.
PHILIP RIVERS
37-points
Philip Rivers had a monster performance drubbing the 49ers. The acquisition of Philip Rivers earlier this season from the Parking Thugs paid off with 37-points in the semifinals. Interestingly enough, the Parking Thugs scored the $10 Weekly Prize as one of the 6 eligible teams in Week 15 with 127-points.
ANDRE JOHNSON
15-points
BEARS DST
27-points
Devin Hester set an NFL record with his 14th kick return for a TD on Monday night in Minnesota. The Bears DST nearly pulled off an amazing comeback victory with their 27-points. They fell 13-points shy of getting the job done. The Predators have made the miracle comeback before, but this time around, it just wasn't enough. Still, the Bears gave Brett Favre a concussion, recorded 4 sacks, 3 interceptions, and the kick return for a big day in victory over the Vikings.
End result is, the Backdoor Bandits find themselves in the title game as this year's #6 seed with perhaps the deadliest pass-catch threat in the game right now: Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson. Throw in the #1 pick in this year's draft with Chris Johnson, to go along with Michalel Turner and Darren McFadden, and maybe our #6 seed can rise all the way to the top of the mountain at the end of Week 16 with the BCFFL title as the prize!

(#2) THE MEGATONS:
(#2) THE MEGATONS:
127-105.5
TOM BRADY
20-points
The Tom Brady Express continues to roll on. This week it was a Sunday night victory over Green Bay as Brady passed for 163 yards and 2 TDs.
BEN ROETHLISBERGER
21-points
Although Ben Roethlisberger's Steelers lost a tough one to the Jets, "Big" Ben - the surprise pick in the early rounds of our draft this season - now plays a pivotal role in leading the Delta Marauders as into the BCFFL Championship. Roethlisberger threw for 264 yards and a TD against the Jets.
MICHAEL BUSH
18-points
We may see a competition between Oakland running backs in our BCFFL title game as Michael Bush and Darren McFadden find themselves head to head. Bush had an 18-14 advantage in Week 15 with his 2 rushing TDs (both 1-yard runs).
LeGARRETTE BLOUNT
19-points
Drafted and dropped by the Gauchos, the Bucs RB with a mean right hook out of the Univerisity of Oregon, LeGarrette Blount has gone from Titans outcast to Tampa Bay rookie-of-the-year candidate. Blount had a big day in Week 15 against Detroit with 19-points on 110-yards and a 39-yard TD.
RODDY WHITE
16-points
The NFL's leading receiver, Roddy White, had a solid day for Atlanta with 16-points in Seattle. Next week, "Rowdy" Roddy White will be helping the Delta Marauders with big points in the Monday Night Football game; a HUGE game against the Saints to determine the NFC South title, but more importantly, to most likely decide the BCFFL title. This year's championship may very well be decided on White's Monday night performance.
PATRIOTS DST
13-points
The Patriots DST hopes to lighten the load for the rest of the Marauders in Week 16. They came up with 13-points on Sunday night against Green Bay, including 5 sacks, an interception, and a touchdown.
DREW BREES
29-points
The Megatons have relied on the strong, accurate arm of Superbowl MVP Drew Brees all year long. He came through in the semifinals with 29-points against Baltimore. Brees passed for 267 yards and 3TDs.
MATT RYAN
24-points
Matt Ryan also rebounded from a dismal Week 14 performance with 24-points against the Seahawks. Ryan also had 3 TDs on 174 yards passing in victory.
MILES AUSTIN
13-points
Cowboys WR Miles Austin had 13-points in a 33-30 win over the Redskins. Miles had a 3-yard TD and 38 receiving yards.
STEVEN JACKSON
17-points
Steven "Action" Jackson had a strong day against Kansas City with 17-points in defeat on Sunday. Jackson rushed for 67 yards and a 5-yard TD.
In the end, The Megatons were unable to withstand the Tom Brady Express and the Marauders simply had more big days from their line-up than they did. It's a tip of the cap to the Delta Marauders and their craftiness in the draft, reliance upon the up-and-coming stars in the league, and now, a chance to lay to rest any questions from the doubters around the league. The fact that the Marauders have a shot at the BCFFL crown in Week 16 is a testament in and of itself. Congratulations, Shane!
That brings us to this ...
